"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" sets to fruition on its quest in December of the coming year, bringing moviegoers their first dose of Middle-Earth big-screen goodness in almost ten years. It's just the first silo for the two-part "Lord of the Rings" prequel, too, so we'll have much more to anticipate to when "There and Back Again" hits in December 2012.
We've well well-known that "The Hobbit" would be separated into two movies, even so the busting position from the two movies has always been unclear. The price of J.R.R. Tolkien's story could make it for the first "Hobbit" movie? What are we available for?
Thanks to a plot summary unearthed by Bleeding Cool, we have got our reply. Keep reading to find out more for the official "Unexpected" plot details.
The experience comes after the trip of title character Bilbo Baggins, the person swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor within the fearsome dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue from the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds him self becoming a member of a corporation of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakenshield. Their trip could take them into the Wild; through dangerous lands crowding with Goblins and Orcs, dangerous Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters as well as Sorcerers.
Although their goal lies to the East and the wastelands of the Lonely Mountain first they must escape the goblin tunnels, where Bilbo meets the creature that will change his life forever...Gollum.
In this article, alone with Gollum, on the shores of an undercover lake, the humble Bilbo Baggins not only finds depths of guile and braveness that shock even him, he also increases ownership of Gollum's "precious" ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities ... A very simple, gold ring that is associated with the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot start to know.
